CONTACTING US

If you want to experience the true spirit of America, then you must pay a visit to 138 Dexter Avenue in Montgomery, Alabama. The entire Chris' Famous Hotdogs experience of visiting the restaurant is unlike any other. This is a family-run business, and it is clear that we take immense pride in their products and our visitors. The restaurant itself is small and it feels like you are part of the family as soon as you walk through the door. The staff are all incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they are more than happy to answer any questions that you might have about the hotdogs, the restaurant itself, or historic downtown Montgomery, AL. Some of our more notable patrons include Franklin D. Roosevelt (who would frequently ask for a box of the world famous hot dogs as his train stopped in Montgomery’s Union Station), Harry Truman, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Presidents Bush 41 & 43, Jimmy Stewart, Elvis Presley, Hank Williams, Clark Gable, Tallulah Bankhead, countless sports stars and every Alabama Governor since 1917.
